other killugon dad headcanons

olivemeister:

gon is dadda (eventually daddy as Baby learns to manage words better) and killua is papa

for an incredibly long time as they were filling out paperwork for pediatricians and such they were like

‘what do we put as a surname. i’m putting your surname.’

‘wait i put yours on this form.’

‘alright from now on we’re putting freecs-zoldyck’

‘why is my name first’

‘it’s alphabetical’

eventually gon just filled out a bunch of paperwork and one day informed killua ‘by the way i legally changed our names’ because ging might not have raised him but he still ended up like him in minor ways. luckily killua didn’t mind.

gon is better at naps because he has a higher body temperature. he is also the better jungle gym and the go-to for sitting on shoulders.

‘papa i want a cookie’ is always responded to with ‘so do i but if we eat the cookies your daddy will be upset and then no one gets kissies’ and he is very dramatic about it because No Kissies is the worst outcome imaginable!!!!!

olivemeister replied to your post: my headcanon about future killua and g…

they both have Parent Things that they’re good at and Parent Things that they are laughably bad at

tell me your headcanons about those. also i feel like neither of them can really cook and killua is killua so often it ends up being “macaroni and cheese for ALL 3 meals today? NO PROBLEM!!!”

OH MAN OH MAN

chuugakusei:

my headcanon about future killua and gon is that one day when they’re either officially legally or basically married they’re going to find an abandoned baby, just someone left it, someone just abandoned their kid. and killua thought they were going to take it to a hospital and then an orphanage, probably, but then he saw gon looking at the baby, and he saw the determined fire in gon’s eyes

gon knows how it feels for your parents to abandon you.

but gon will make sure that this child doesn’t ever have to feel that, because gon and killua are this baby’s parents now.

and killua sees that and understands. like ah. i see.

they name her marie

greed island cards are a fanfic-writer’s dream but they also make me want to put my head in my hands and whisper ‘what the fuck is wrong with ging’ for a year

highlights include:

pregnancy stones (no matter the sex of the holder, they will become pregnant)

capricious remote (allows the user to adjust a person’s emotions towards another person from an intensity of 1-10 (cannot be used to change a person’s emotions regarding the user))

favor cushion (if you make a person sit on this cushion and ask a favor of them, they will do it as long as it’s within their capabilities)

hormone cookies (changes the user’s sex for 24 hours)

universal survey (write down questions pertaining to yourself and give it to someone. they will answer them truthfully)

doyen’s virility pills (magic viagra)

swap ticket (swap bodies with someone for 24 hours by ripping the ticket and giving it to them)

When I first saw the opening for the 1999 anime, I thought the show would be about Gon, Killua, Leorio, and Kurapika all having to band together to go on some kind of dangerous adventure. Beyond the Hunter Exam, canon never did go in that direction, but I would love to see a long, epic fanfic about such a topic. Maybe they would be on the run from the law after helping Kurapika steal some of the eyes of his people, or climbing the monster-infested mountain where Ging was last sighted. Or hell, even a horrific post-apocalyptic AU where the world ended and they could only count on each other to survive would be lovely to read at this point…

On Ging’s intentions in the Dark Continent Arc

So the translations of the latest HxH chapters are not great, especially given the epic walls of text that Togashi is indulging in at times, but I just wanted to clarify (at least for myself), my reading of Ging’s actions and intentions are.

And they’re pretty explicitly outlined in the manga:  Ging wants to get to the Dark Continent.  Equally, though, he wants to thwart the impeding destruction that Pariston is intending.  Because Ging’s very clear that he regards Pariston’s plans as wrong and destructive.  And he’s mad.

He’s trying to stop Pariston.

How do you think things would’ve been if Killua and Gon had swapped childhoods?? :0

garefowl:

killua is not only inherently kindhearted but profoundly loyal so if he’d grown up on whale island and under mito’s care, there’s a good chance he would never take off for things like hunter exams, as he’d be leaving his warm family and home behind. i have no doubt a desire to wander would creep on him eventually, wanting to live his own life, but killua would be overall happy and content, i’d think. would he even encounter kite? hm.

and the thought of gon as an assassin terrifies me, to be honest.

what if gon grew up in meteor city somehow (just roll with it) and ended up joining the spiders. what if spider!gon meeting killua somehow by way of organized crime connections. what if fucked up unhealthy criminal boyfriends.

garefowl:

what if i needed life alert because i’m going into cardiac arrest after reading this idea? YES. i love it. gon with a spider tattoo. killua on an assassin job, quietly watching his target from somewhere in the shadows, waiting for the perfect moment to strike, only to be interrupted when a young man who looks to be about his age bursts into the room.

for reasons killua will never know, the phantom troupe also had plans for the targeted man, and they’d sent their youngest member to have a little fun with him; a dark haired man with eyes like melted caramel, who smiles from ear-to-ear, all teeth, when he snaps the old fool’s neck with his bare hands.

gon looks over into the darkness, where killua is standing but shouldn’t be able to be detected. smile widening, if that’s even possible. an omen. “i’m gon. what’s your name?”
