Kirugon Kid Fluff

constellation-crisis:

KidFic/Au where Killua had slipped out from the mansion early evening before sunset and settles himself on a swing in a nearby vacant park, taking a few moments to just not think. His little eight year old body aches from the training he’d had in the early AM, and he’s a bit fatigued after having two assassinations he’d been assigned to. All is quiet until some loud kid around his age with wild hair and loud green shorts runs up on the swing next to him, greeting him with gusto and introducing himself in volume. He babbles about how he’s waiting for Aunt Mito to finish in the nearby market and how he’s allowed to play there till she’s done.

Killua doesn’t say more than one or two syllable responses, dumbfounded that there existed such a dumb and naive creature (in his opinion).

But then the boy asks for a push on the swing, Just for fun! I wanna see if I can get close to flying!! he said, and Killua shrugs an okay. When he goes to give the boy a push, Gon, swing and all, fly farther and higher than expected, Killua not having tamed his strength by accident (he’s never been around a boy his age before, at least not when there wasn’t blood pooling on a kitchen floor or his claws were stained like red carpet). Gon yells and sails through the air until he lands in a tree and gets hooked upside by a branch with the swing.

Killua, concerned he may have injured or killed someone who was not a contracted target, rushes over, only to find the dopiest, biggest, dumbest and brightest grin he’s ever seen. He’d never known a smile could be so wide, and genuine. Perhaps not all smiles were small, cold and condescending.

That was awesome!!! I was actually flying!! Did you see?! Did you see?! Can you do that again? Wow, you’re really strong!!

And little Killua can only blink in astonishment. He truly cannot comprehend the reactions, emotions and thoughts; the way this boy was wired. It hurt the logistics tattooed to his brain.

But with wild raven hair pointing to the ground, a goofy( and one gap on the left) grin, and eyes shining in admiration all toward him, he allowed a small smile.

You should get down before all the blood rushes out your ears from hanging upside down. Idiot, don’t just dangle there. C’mon!

Make Me Choose, kirugon mermaid au vs. fairy au? (that last ask got me thinking about other mythical creatures)

decembercamiecherries:

MERMAID. MERMAID MERMAID MERMAID. I LOVE MERMAIDS.

Fairy au would be cool too, but MERMAIDS. Think about it: underwater kisses, helping the mermaid (*cough*Killua*cough*) to walk, how do you say human names in mermaid language- there’s so many cute and wonderful options ughhhhhh

I already have something written for that, actually, so here you go:

“What about you,
Killua?” he asked as he leaned forward on the heels of his hands.

“What about me?”

“Did you ever want to
see something you didn’t believe in?”

Killua was quiet for
a moment. Gon waited good-naturedly; he didn’t mind the silence when it was
with Killua. He watched as the merteen released his hold on the deck beam and
floated onto his back, water lapping at his body where skin met air.

Killua’s chest was
unnaturally thin and pale, just like the rest of his features. Around his hips,
white skin gave way to shinning blue scales. They glistened in the sun like
tiny sapphires, like the shade of Killua’s eyes.

“I always wanted to
see you, I guess,” Killua admitted lowly as he stared up at the sky. “Humans
were a kind of enigma to me when I was younger.”

Gon tilted his head
to the side. “But your family as a vacation house here. Aunt Mito said she used
to see your parents around town-”

“That doesn’t count.
We were never let outside of the house even when we did come onto the surface.
What if someone accidentally splashed water on us or something and we reverted?
Dad and Mom couldn’t take that chance. You were the first human I ever interacted
with.”

Gon beamed. He was
glad to know he was Killua’s first human, since technically, he was Gon’s first
merperson. “I made a good impression, then?”

Killua snorted and
flicked his tail, sending a splash of water Gon’s way.

Make me choose!

roleswap au where Killua lives on an island with his weird xenophobic family, Gon is on a quest to find his father and bring him back to his struggling village hidden in the woods, Kurapika is an aspiring trauma surgeon in the wake of witnessing his entire family get murdered by the Phantom Troupe, and Leorio is a terrible assassin who was grandfathered into the role and just wants to make enough cash money to retire (so he never has to kill ever again ever)
