i feel like i need to better explain why i enjoy my 3×3 eyes/HxH crossover so much

Pai is a 300 year old immortal sanjiyan (ie triclops) girl whose wish is to become a mortal, and Yakumo is a 15 (or maybe 16 i forget…) year old boy who becomes her undead servant when he is mortally injured saving her and she takes his soul to link his life to hers, thus saving him.

the manga is 40 volumes long a LOT of it involves Yakumo getting viciously torn apart in various ways (he will always regenerate so long as Pai is alive) while protecting Pai

Pai has a lot of monster friends too, and she also has 2 personalities, one which is really upbeat and innocent, and the other is vicious and much more eager to fight (and is the one who holds most of the knowledge about fighting with spells)

now imagine Gon as Pai and Killua as Yakumo

Killua already devotes so much of himself to protecting Gon, so if he’s also pretty much immortal (ie even if his head is torn off it’ll still regenerate), he could do so much more and not worry 8^))))))

also Gon, instead of having a super vicious side could become more like Gon-san sometimes instead (so very somber and serious….)
