• Gon and Mito’s seiyuu in the 2011 reboot are mother and daughter. Megumi Han and Keiko Han.
• The Hunter x Hunter World is a rearranged version of Earth
• [Spoiler] When Netero played ‘swipe the ball away from me’ with Gon and Killua during the Hunter Exam, he mostly used his left arm and right leg. On his fight with Meruem he lost the same set of limbs.
• Ging Freecss passed the 267th hunter exam before the age of twelve. Twenty years later Gon followed his footsteps and became a hunter on the 287th hunter exam at the age of twelve.
• There is a common misconception that Hisoka is a pedophile due to the hints of sexual gratification when fighting with Gon. In actuality it is instead heavily implied that he receives sexual gratification from fighting/killing strong opponents. A more accurate description of him would be a lust murderer or an erotophonophiliac.
• Killua Zoldyck topped all three character popularity polls. Kurapika second on all three, and Gon third.
